Digital Environment and Education
This paper presents the results of a field research conducted with the aim of determining the attitudes of Croatian language teachers and class teachers towards the application of information and communication technology in education, especially in teaching Croatian. A sample included 296 respondents, who were all teachers of the Croatian language (N = 138) and class teachers (N = 158) in Croatia. Based on the evaluation of certain elements of the Textbook Standard (Udžbenički standard), their views on the importance of using digital technologies in teaching Croatian are determined here in the context of evaluation of teaching resources and aids as well as didactic and methodical approaches.
