Sažetak
This paper presents a method to determine the inertia constant of the induction motor coupled to a loading device. The method utilizes measurements of the step loading transient. The inertia is determined by solving the nonlinear parameter identification problem by constrained particle swarm optimization, and the influence of the particle swarm accuracy on the result is commented.
