Strategija upravljanja sportom: Transcendencija promjenjive supstancije sporta

The fundamental overall strategic goal of this paper is to contribute to increasing knowledge and improving judgment in the sports system, by analyzing the evolution of the thinking of studying the strategy and understanding the behavior of sports systems in an increased, articulated and complex context. Contrary to the rational and logical approach to strategy, the more important the stations are to a considerable extent, creative and innovative solutions, new business and resource combinations, original business models and ultimately recognition of new market space. Following the logical incrementalism, and sport system is gradually adapting to changes in the environment. The true depth of understanding strategic issues is sought to gain by collective observation and reflection of the three-dimensionality of strategic issues (process, content and context) related to the sport system. The formation of judgment involves reflection processes that transcend the mere naturalistic understanding of the sport system: the changing substance of the sport, which is affected by culture and tradition as well as our individual preferences. It is concluded that the sport system, and even the one in the innovation less developed countries, is exposed to globalization and internationalization, which has inevitably forced for change in the sense of management strategy. The strategy process works best when management takes into account that it is not linear or discrete, rather than circular and permanent. Therefore, it is unlikely that the present way of functioning of the sport system, without any serious and comprehensive strategic management dimension, will be sustainable for a longer period of time.
