Komparativna studija zdravstvene ispravnosti žitarica Istočne Slavonije

During 2001 more than 30 representative wheat samples from the area of Eastern Slavonia were collected. All samples were analysed for possible presence of pesticides and some of mycotoxin residues. The presence of pesticide residues was detected by multiresidual method Mass spectrometry for final confirmation (GC-ECD, GC-NPD, GC-MS) was also applied. The presence of mycotoxins was determined by semiquantitative thin layer chromatography method (TLC). In analyzed samples no pesticide residues were detected but ochratoxin levels were found to be up to 50 micrograms per kilogram. In comparison with previous results there are no significant differences.
