Visual and Verbal Interrelations in canadian Short Fiction

My Thesis is an extensive interdisciplinary research in the field of Canadian multimodal short prose. I have classified, described, explained, and analyzed multimodal interrelations between the written (verbal) and visual elements (book cover design, ekphrasis, photography, illustration and shape prose) in Canadian multimodal short prose. The thesis covers short fiction written by Alice Munro, Margaret Atwood, Diane Schoemperlen, Francis Itani, George Bowering, and Michael Ondaatje.
