Work values of Croatian high school students: Hierarchy and structure after transition processes

This work analyses present work values in Croatia. WIS Value Scale that measures 20 values was administered to 827 Croatian high school students. The hierarchy and structure of values were defined and compared to findings reported in earlier studies conducted during last 20 years. The results show some expected changes in value hierarchy, as well as minor changes in value structure. Further more, some trends of changes in work values during transition processes are recognized and described. Seems that transition process and changes in world of work have recognizable influence on work values of high school students.
