Investigation of steel flow stress on Crome-Nickel alloyed structural steels and plasticity at high temperatures
This paper deals with the stress flow and plasticity of steel at elevated temperatures. The results obtained by the hot torsion test in the temperature range of 1073K to 1473K on alloyed structural steels for special application are presented. Knowing the metal flow strees it is possible to predict the magnitude of the force required for deformation, the machine and tool straining, the energy consumpition, to analyse the suitability oft he selected technology and the effect oft he material plasticity.
