Dynamics of the technology progress in economic development

This paper deals with developments of technology thorugh historical perspective. This stand point allows us to monitor long term process of technology development and its influence on economic development of countries in terms of technology leadership, technology gap and catch-up process. The historical perspective taken in this paper starts with the First Industrial Revolution as breaking point and ends with present days. This focus is taken due to severty of changes in this period in terms of growth and development of nations.
