CFD modelling as a validated tool to understand and develop PEMFCs
Abstract - CFD analysis is conducted for various levels of complexity to accurately represent the physical processes inside PEM fuel cells. Models range from complex steady- state to a simplified transient. Valuable information is extracted from the numerical data and used to improve the currently developed flow field design for the stack.
