Sažetak
The amount of applied fertiliser in the system of precision agriculture adapts to the current state of the soil nutrients, creating a balanced and optimal quantity on the agricultural parcel. In comparison with the conventional method, excessive application of fertilizers and unnecessary soil pollution is avoided. The paper describes the components of the precise fertilization of potassium and phosphorus on the agricultural parcel owned by PIK Vinkovci (Sopot branch). The principle of precision fertilization was applied using maps, whereby thematic maps of fertilizer recommendations in the GIS environment were made. The research stated that the use of precision fertilization reduced the amount of potassium application by 27% and phosphorus by 46% compared to conventional method.
