A study of the influence of occlusal factors and parafunctional habits on the prevalence of signs and symptoms of TMD
the purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of the clinical signs and syptoms of temporomandibular disorders and the relationship between osslual factors , parafunctional habits, and TMD in a young adult nonpatient population. Some association between occlusal factors and TMD signs was found. However, this association cannot be considered unique or dominant in defining subjects with TMD in the population.
