Cultural Sociology hic et nunc: Reflections on the Future of the Field

The presentation discusses the future of the Alexandrian program of cultural sociology, and its relation to the competing programs (sociology of culture, cultural studies, cultural theory, visual sociology, public sociology) with regard to the different "national containers" of major sociological traditions (US, Britain, Germany, France) plus the EU and Central Europe.
